Novus offers a diverse set of frequency reference products. From our low cost TCXO frequency references to our Rubidium frequency references to our high-performance GPS disciplined references (GPS DO) -Novus frequency references offer low phase noise, accuracy and reliability. From one to twenty channels, modular, rackmount, portable or micro-packaged- Novus offers a form factor to meet your frequency reference needs. Available features include redundant power, SNMP, self-test, ultra-low phase noise, dual-Time base, real-time Allan Deviation, and synthesized frequency references.

For use cases that demand greater precision, we have GPS disciplined oscillators that will provide single satellite tracking capabilities that are GLONASS compatible and therefore supported by GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, and SBSS networks.

Ten channel reference offers the stability of a SC cut OCXO stabilized with a band gap reference. Local display and controls allow channel by channel status. RS232 and Ethernet capability enable remote monitoring and control (SNMP). Ten channels meet the needs of most applications without a distribution amplifier. Dual power source options for AC and DC power driven systems.

  • Ten transient and fault protected channels.
  • Option – operates from AC or DC power sources independently or redundantly.
  • Monitor and set alert limits on each output.
  • Two-stage amplifier design isolates the source from the amplifier outputs, thereby protecting the source.
  • Optional SNMP provides remote monitoring and control

Low Phase Noise Dual Channel 10 MHz Frequency Reference 50 and 100 MHz Options

The NR2110 is a 10 MHz precision OCXO frequency reference. Excellent aging is achieved through the use of an intrinsically low jitter overtone SC cut crystal placed in a thermostatically controlled oven. Low phase noise is achieved by the inherent characteristics of the crystal and appropriate design techniques. Dual outputs are transient and fault protected. Equipment status is reported thru front panel indicators as well as with the RS232 port.

The NR3700 10MHz frequency reference uses a low noise SC cut OCXO as the master timing source. The OCXO is biased with a band-gap reference to provide excellent temperature and and aging stability.  LED indicator provides self-test status. There is also a floating solid state relay that can be tied to an alarm panel self test status.

The NR3700 contains an optional factory programmable counter. The OCXO is typically 10 MHz and is firstly tripled to 30 MHz. The 30 MHz signal drives a 16 bit match counter enabling a the synthesis of a range of frequencies that are integer divides of the 30 MHz The output is available on the SMA as a CMOS signal at 5 Vdc or 3.3 Vdc  CMOS capable of driving a 50 ohm load. An excellent simulated 1PPS source.

 

The unit also has a LVDS option.

The NR3702 reference uses a low noise SC cut OCXO as the master timing source. The OCXO is biased with a band-gap reference to provide excellent temperature and and aging stability.  LED indicator provides self-test status. There is also a floating solid state relay that can be tied to an alarm panel. The unit provides a 10MHz sine, a 1PPS pulse at either 3.3 or 5 Vdc CMOS levels and a LVDS port that can be configured to the 10 MHz Square or PPS output.

The NR3626 is a high performance 10 MHz frequency reference driven by a low noise SC cut, OCXO. 10 MHz outputs are 13 dBm. Optionally the unit can generate a synthesized PPS. The unit may be locked to an external PPS or 10 MHz reference. The unit may also be used as a six channel clean-up oscillator by locking to a external 10 MHz source that has been degraded. Outputs will be synchronized to the external source but phase noise will be dominated by the internal OCXO.
