Novus offers a range of GNSS GPS disciplined oscillators and related reference products. While our most popular frequency reference is 10MHz, many of our products are available at 50 and 100 MHz. Unique frequencies are available as well. Novus references can be OCXO , TCXO or Rubidium based. GNSS-locking enhances long-term stability. Stability options are available that incorporate vibration and thermal isolation. Our reference products are available in 19 inch rack mount and modular, chassis. Our miniature PicoPod series fits almost anywhere. Novus reference distribution amplifiers offer minimal phase noise contribution and skewing. Novus PPS sources can be synchronized to a 10 MHz reference to provide a complete timing solution. Our PPS sources can be directly from a GPS PPS source or processed to improve jitter and statistical accuracy. For GNSS denied environments, Novus offers a range synthesized 1PPS sources. Our PPS distribution amplifiers offer sub 1 nsec skewing and transient and fault protection. For enhanced control and monitoring, SNMP and local control are available as options. Portable reference products offer excellent holdover stability to provide accuracy in GNSS denied environments.
Ten channel 10 MHz frequency reference offers GNSS GPS locked stability with a completely independent integrated gap-less frequency counter to assure the integrity of the primary reference. Ten channels meet the needs of most applications without a distribution amplifier. Continuous channel monitoring available locally or via RS232/Ethernet (SNMP). Dual power source options for AC and DC power driven systems. Dual-time base option adds integrity to your time base.

NR6720-O/G/A6
The NR6720-O/G/A6 features extremely low frequency jitter despite being GNSS-locked. GNSS-locking brings a long-term stability to an OCXO that is difficult to match. Instead of an accuracy of 50 ppb/year – accuracies of ~E-12 are readily achieved. However, locking an OCXO to the GNSS presents its own set of problems. The timing information from the GNSS is burdened with all the noise one would expect from a RF link – multi-path, reflections, etc. Long-term stability is enhanced frequently at the expense of “close-in” stability. Low frequency components from the RF link are introduced to the OCXO, often degrading the Allan Deviation of the OCXO. The NR6720-O/G/A6 uses a unique crystal and proprietary control loop to minimize “close-in” degradation while securing long-term stability. The unit also features very low 1PPS pulse-to- pulse jitter. Instead of the +- 10 ns of PPS jitter from the receiver, the PPS stabilizer reduces PPS jitter to under 800 ps.
